Podcast Moments: Neal Brennan on You Made It Weird

I’m grateful that Julio from NY alerted me to the existence of You Made It Weird, which is part of the Nerdist podcast empire. Pete Holmes is the host of You Made It Weird and, during his interview with Marc Maron, he admits to imitating WTF with Marc Maron, which remains my favorite podcast.

One You Made It Weird episode that really caught my ear was the interview with the Co-Creator of Chappelle’s Show, Neal Brennan. I definitely have a much better sense now of how Brennan thinks and operates, which includes some unfortunate bigotry.

TV in Review: 30 Rock in January

The ratings for 30 Rock (NBC) are down, with many news reports blaming the dominance of American Idol (Fox) and Big Bang Theory (CBS). I had forgotten that 30 Rock was back on the air, delayed until midseason due to Tina Fey’s pregnancy. I just watched the four episodes that aired during January and I have to ask, are the ratings down because of the quality?

TMZ reported last night that Tracy Morgan has been rushed to the hospital at Sundance, after appearing intoxicated during his award acceptance speech.
