Did you hear the one in which Louisiana Representative John Fleming read an article about Planned Parenthood building an Abortionplex? Rather than recognizing it as satire of the religious right’s skewed perception of the family planning clinic, he posted it as fact on his Facebook wall.

Stephen Colbert is the supreme political satirist of our generation. Or maybe he should split that honor with The Onion, many of whose writers went on to work on his show. I’ve certainly never seen a better skewering of the whole idiotic (and evil) Corporations-are-people conservatism than this ad from the Colbert Super PAC.
