Martina Navratilova Exits Dancing

Despite any boost she might have received in the voting after soliciting votes from Howard Stern’s radio audience last week, Martina Navratilova was kicked off of Dancing With The Stars last night. She felt that the connection with the public was stronger than the approval from the judges, but that it still wasn’t enough to make up for it in whatever complicated calculation the show uses to determine who gets to stay and who is given the boot. I never did figure out how to vote for her myself, so I suppose that I am complicit in her dismissal, but really, aren’t we all?
