Monday Night Video – The Ed Show on Romney v. Democracy in Ohio

Ohio Republicans, like Fox News, are vocal opponents of democracy when it means actual democracy (enabling people to vote) rather than their version of democracy (allowing rich white males to vote). Hence the conservatives’ attempts to suppress the vote, including a move to restrict in-person early voting.
Ed Schultz is joined by former Ohio Governor Ted Strickland to discuss how Mitt Romney is attempting to spin the Democrats’ lawsuit to restore these rights as an attack on patriotism, soldiers, and patriotic soldiering apple pies. Schultz starts off his report on the situation by saying…
SCHULTZ: Once again, Mitt Romney doesn’t have the facts.
…but I disagree. Romney has all the facts. He just don’t care.
Romney is nothing more than stagnant pond scum.
I think I’ve mentioned before how I used to think that Romney was an empty suit, but this campaign has made me understand that he’s the same bullying, pond-slime ridden plutocrat he was in high school.
Yes he is. I thought the same thing, too. He could care less about people “under” him – which are those who do not make as much money (pretty much the whole population) as well as gays and women. I could never imagine voting for him and I’m amazed that people will – primarily to vote against Obama. Well, hey… vote for Gary Johnson then. Just DO NOT vote for Romney!
You hit the nail on the head with that one. Mittens is very self-absorbed elitist. Puzzling to see how he made it this far but then again, not. He’s got 1-percenters trying to buy his way into The House.
I think that’s exactly it. Mittens is the representation and the embodiment of the 1-percenters. It couldn’t have been more scripted. Luckily for us, money can’t buy him charm!
