It literally stopped me in my tracks.
First thought…Oh jeez while laughing. Mind if I steal that pic? hmmm, Wonder if I could talk the local Cracker Barrel or Waffle House into letting me do valet parking?
Steal away! You know, I think everyone is just so used to valet parking there. I tried to hide how funny I found it and attempted to act cool while taking the picture.
LOL. Like you’ve seen it everyday. Did you succeed in your act? I’m about 50/50 when it comes to that.
But it seems by your posts that you had a good time. I haven’t been to California since the late ’70′s. Then just San Fransisco and San Diego for a few days at a time.
Since then the farthest west has been Rapid City, SD
I think no one paid me any attention, although it’s also a bit silly to try and avoid looking like a tourist where I was, as it was full of tourists.
I did have a good time. I grew up in New England but have always felt more at home in California, which is why I eventually moved out to the San Francisco Bay area. Los Angeles would probably wear me down due to how image conscious it is, but that attention to aesthetics can also be quite pleasant, and Hollywood actually has much cheaper rents than San Francisco!
Never have been to Rapid City.
They should also offer Flash Valet so you can text for your car and pay with your phone. Like you do at Sunset Tower.
