Thursday Night Video – Mitt Romney on the Wisdom of the Individual Mandate

Yes, I would prefer single payer public option health care. But at least a health care mandate pushes for individual responsibility and greater health care coverage. Don’t believe me? Listen to Mitt Romney say so, from a press conference on March 6th, 2006.
The whole Mandate thing was the brainchild of himself and the Heritage Foundation. The major sticking point Americans don’t like about the ACA.
And now Republicans are saying that they’re all in favor of forcing insurance companies to cover patients with pre-existing conditions, and allowing children to stay on their parents’ plans until the age of 26, etc. Everything except for the mandate they invented!
Thanks for finding this video another example of Mitt being politically expedient.
I realize that they’re all politicians, but boy, he’s truly breathtaking. I can only imagine that it doesn’t even bother him. A true CEO, he’s just about getting the job.
In business as you said Romney is truly about profit and in politics for him it is about the POWER

Part of the reason this whole discussion has been frustrating is that leaders can be this dishonest… It’s not just Romney, or Republicans, but this is a shame…
No, it’s not just Romney or Republicans, but they do seem to be leading the pack. And it really does seem even worse than it used to be.
I couldn’t agree more…
