Right Wing Hypocrisy Watch: O’Reilly & Krauthammer on Obama & Putin

On the June 19th edition of The O’Reilly Factor, Republican pundits Bill O’Reilly and Charles Krauthammer criticized President Obama for somehow playing too nice with Russian Czar President Vladimir Putin.
O’REILLY: Putin is a killer, but you can’t say that.
KRAUTHAMMER: Obama — but it’s the tone Obama takes, this conciliatory tone.
Now remember, these are the men looking to bring back the policy-makers of President George Bush. Remember Bush? Remember what Bush said about Putin in June 2001?
BUSH: I looked the man in the eye. I found him to be very straight forward and trustworthy and we had a very good dialogue.
I was able to get a sense of his soul.
He’s a man deeply committed to his country and the best interests of his country and I appreciate very much the frank dialogue and that’s the beginning of a very constructive relationship.
Okay, but how did Bush treat Putin later in his tenure? This is from The New York Times, on June 30, 2007.
CARLA ANNE ROBBINS: Mr. Putin arrives tomorrow at the Bush family compound in Kennebunkport — the only foreign leader to get such an invitation from this President Bush.
In a way, Bill O’Reilly and Charles Krauthammer aren’t hypocrites. They really don’t care about Putin and how he is treated. They just care about winning power for Republicans, and therefore will criticize Obama with whatever they’ve got. As usual, it requires ignoring the history of the Republican Party, as they got nothin’. I just wish the rest of the media would use the Google to remember what these hacks have said in the past, and stop pretending that Fox is anything other than the propaganda arm of the Republican Party.

Hmm, we, the foxes, cannot wait for this time to come, the meal will be delicious! Oh, and bugs will certainly appreciate eating the pages of humans’ bibles! Time is coming, nowhere for humans to hide!
