Tuesday Night Video – Blitzer v. Trump

My question is, how truly ridiculous do your political positions have to be for someone as thoroughly establishment as Wolf Blitzer calls you out? It’s ridiculous for Donald Trump to even be treated as a public figure. The man’s a repeated business failure who relied on daddy’s money and has filed for bankruptcy four times, but in the process built himself a brand based on bluster. I do wish Blitzer had been more of a bulldog when it comes to Trump’s refusal to validate any of his contentions, but that is not the CNN way.
“I do wish Blitzer had been more of a bulldog… but that is not the CNN way.”
True. It would have driven that “liberal media” claim down even further. But then again there needs to be more journalists doing their job to keep “them” honest.
If the media were actually liberal, the birther believers would have remained fully off-stage…
True. And isn’t it interesting too how we hear such loud screams about the unfairness of all the “liberal elite media” when the radio waves and the blogosphere is inundated by conservative outlets?
Well, Trump is a public figure. But it’s really a problem with the public that accepts Trump as expert on anything besides bankruptcy. It’s the same public that accepts Jenny McCarthy as an expert on vaccination.
I agree, Trump and McCarthy are public figures, but there’s no need for them to be on serious news organizations. Of course, that makes them perfect for CNN!
That makes them perfect for E! I still think that CNN should be about real news.
I agree! It would be great to have a clearer dividing line between E! and CNN.
Don’t worry. trump and sheriff pink panties from Arizona will get to the bottom of it. After all trump has his investigators in Hawaii to get the truth.
Anyone heard anything yet??? It’s only been a year.
It’s incredible that Arpaio keeps getting elected, and still by pretty significant margins. He got over 55% last time out, in 2008.
It is strange. I think fearmongering may have something to do with it. Between him and the governor they really put out the idea that most brown people are illegal and evil.
