Doctor Watson Sits in Chairs, “The Reichenbach Fall” Edition

Okay, so I realize that I may be the only one fixating on such minor matters, but every time I watch Sherlock, it seems that there is an awful lot of John Watson sitting in chairs.

Here are some pics Doctor Watson sitting in chairs, all from “The Reichenbach Fall”.

Chair 1, speaking with his therapist:

Chair 2, at home at 221B Baker Street, speaking with Sherlock:

Chair 3, waiting for the verdict at court.

Chair 4, speaking with Mycroft.

Chair 5, at Kitty’s:

Chair 6, back with Mycroft. It’s very exciting, as they appear to have switched chairs.

Chair 7, back at home again.

Chair 8 is the same as Chair 1. We’ve come full circle, back at the therapist’s.

It’s all very appropriate, as John is the surrogate for the viewer, and most of us are sitting on chairs or couches as we watch the show. And yes, this is how my imagination operates.

He does it very well, though. Great observation.

Thanks. I really should do a companion piece about Sherlock standing looking dramatic. He seems to do that in fields, on cliffs, on top of buildings. And he does it very well, too.
