I was quite mesmerized by that. Is that guy really a newsreader or was he playing a character from a film? Either way, I really enjoyed it. In fact, I’m going to show it to the rest of the family later.
Actually, forget that last comment, I now realise who it is. I love that clip. I’ve just watched it again.
Will Ferrell is fascinating. There have been holdups before in the attempt to make a new Anchorman movie — I think Ferrell wanted to do it as a musical at one point — so I’m interested to hear what the new approach is going to be.
Lol. This is great! I’m looking forward to the sequel. I’m hoping so hard that it’s not going to be a letdown.
I’m excited that they’re apparently getting Steve Carrell to come back even though he’s become a much bigger star since the first movie.
Yeah, I was shocked at that, too! But the movie would just not be worth it if Carrell wasn’t on board. I wonder if Christina Applegate will be in the sequel. She was so funny in the first one and I feel like her sense of humor isn’t utilized to its maximum on “Up All Night,” so it would be nice to see her cut loose again as Veronica Corningstone.
