Rep. John Fleming Tangles With Satire (Satire Wins)

Did you hear the one in which Louisiana Representative John Fleming read an article about Planned Parenthood building an Abortionplex? Rather than recognizing it as satire of the religious right’s skewed perception of the family planning clinic, he posted it as fact on his Facebook wall.

There’s a fight going on about this over at Wikipedia, reminiscent of the editing and re-editing of Newt Gingrich’s entry. As of Tuesday night, the following emendation of Representative Fleming’s entry had been removed.
