  1. I agree that their personal life is their personal life. However, in Cain’s deal here, what really bothers me is the fact that he gave this woman money to help her out (for whatever reason is of no concern to me). But, I did not like the fact that he did not tell his wife. Makes me wonder what he would do to the country if elected POTUS. “Oh, sorry… guess I forgot to tell you that.”

      I’m not sure that hiding affairs of the heart (or pants) necessarily leads to hiding affairs of the state, but I get what you’re saying, and I’m not sure of when it bothers me and what it doesn’t. For example, Bill Clinton’s affair didn’t prevent me from voting for him, but Gavin Newsom’s affair would.
